Questions enhance communication, show interest, and improve learning. Here are five questions leaders would be smart to start asking those on their team, or perhaps ask more often.
How are you? (your spouse, children, weekend plans, challenges)
Is there anything I can do to help you? (stress, projects, resources, expectations)
How are you feeling about…? (life, work, position, the organization)
What am I doing right? (coaching, encouraging, rewarding, providing opportunities)
What can I do better? (expectations, encouragement, time, give credit)
Start regularly asking the members on your team these questions and see how it affects your team culture!
